Ed Chaves Velando of Pembroke Pines, Florida, has installed a twin setup of our SS-30 halon fire extinguishers into his Ferrari. Ed has plenty of money tied up in this beauty and for 250 bucks he has insured this beauty against any engine fire possibilities. We would guess that Ed, a Broward County Florida sheriff, has yet to have a high speed chase in catching a stolen Ferrari like his car! No doubt his ownership would give him advantage. Phill and AJ Niedzwiecki installed a Firefight SS30 in their RV generator compartment. Due to the age of their Onan unit and because they run it on all trips for the AC comfot, just knowing that the SS30 fire suppression unit is in place provides real peace of mind.

Jim Wade, a retired commercial airline pilot living in Deland, Florida, recently installed our SS-100B halon extinguisher in his new race car.

The canister is installed right next to the driver, with the firing-button mounted directly on it. The Halon vents directly into the cockpit, as well as traveling to the engine and fuel compartments through steel tubes.

"I like the design as it is so practical for the driver to instantly strike the switch and fire the system." Jim says. "You have a great price for a great design and I wouldn't race without halon protection!"

Don Stroud of Pensacola, Florida is a well known name in the outlaw drag arena scene, having won the Flowmaster race in Valdosta, Georgia.
